Subject	Huge power gain felt after removing catback

Message	A little while ago I had a stillen catback and test pipes. The car was too quiet so I took off the catback to get some more noise. To my surprise the car felt like it gained a ton of extra power. I put the exhaust back on to save my ears, but after I got a full catless exhuast I tried it again with my HKS hipower catback. it again felt like it got a bunch of power. Is this a common thing? I wouldn't think there would be any difference with how unrestricted my system is, but boy was I wrong.
